Toyota Trades Highlander Sport for New SE, Ups MSRP on 12 Toyota/Scion Models

Toyota Motor Corporation today announced it is replacing the Sport cut on its favourite Highlander V6 with a pricier, more full featured 2010 Special Edition (SE). The Highlander SE 4x2 MSRP module be $32,480, patch the 4x4 module $33,930, excluding destination and handling. The SE is some $3,000 more pricey than the outward Sport, placing it near to the Limited trim.

Toyota is also raising prices on 12 current 2010 Toyota and Scion models including Corolla, Matrix, Highlander and Highlander Hybrid, RAV4, Yaris, Sequoia, FJ Cruiser, Tundra, Scion tC, xB and xD. Price increases depart from $100 for the Corolla up to $500 for the FJ Cruiser. Details on model/trim pricing increases are after the jump.
